Meeting real people in Pakistan should not feel risky

Safety isn’t a feature. It’s the product.

When we tell people we are building an app for meeting new people, the first question is almost never about features. It is: “Is it safe?” Especially from women, and especially in Pakistan. It is the right question, and it shaped Meetscape from the first day.

Safety is the product, not a feature

In social products, trust decides whether people show up. So we made a few decisions early that are not negotiable and never paid extras.

1. Verified members

Every member verifies they are a real adult before they can join a plan. No fake profiles, no anonymous strangers, no catfishing.

2. Adults only, 18+

Meetscape is for adults. No exceptions and no workarounds.

3. Plans in public places

Meetups happen at cafés, courts, events and on organised trips: public, busy and easy to leave. Small groups are the default.

4. Report and block in one tap

If something feels off, you can report or block instantly, and a real team reviews every report.

5. Privacy by default

Other members never see your exact location or your contact details. You decide what to share and when.

Our tip for any first meetup

  • Meet in a public place and in a group.
  • Tell a friend where you are going and who with.
  • Arrange your own transport.
  • Trust your instincts. Leaving is always fine.

Meeting new people should feel exciting, not risky. That is the standard we are holding ourselves to. Read more on our safety page at meetscape.app/safety.
